2019 Minnesota Made - Event 3 - North Arm

23 TEAMS - 23 FULL BAGS!!!

Let's start with that and then get to the meat and potatoes of this event.

For the first time in the history of our league, every team that showed up came in with their full bag of fish.  Just another testament to the guys in our league. 

It was a perfect day to get some action shots because everywhere I pulled up to was producing.  Guys were catching fish left and right.  The key to finishing towards the top wasn't figuring out how to get them to bite - it was how to get the big ones to bite before the little ones.  Some teams were able to figure out a system better than others and finished towards the top.

One team in particular, Tim Prunick and Bubba Bussen were able to get 2 special fish to bite.  There were some 1-lbs. crappies caught, but not like this.  Tim was the hot hand of the day and pulled in a 1.59 and 1.35 crappie measuring around 14".  They were able to completely separate themselves from the rest of the pack with these two fish.

I asked Bubba how he felt afterwards and his response was that of a man who had busted his butt for 2 years and finally got rewarded.

"This was a long time coming"
